# Delta share recipient token refresh

We are updating the URLs used for Delta Sharing recipients to strengthen data security. If your recipient was created before December 8, 2025, you need to rotate it by December 8, 2026 to keep receiving shared data. You can rotate your recipient yourself in Config Hub. After rotation, update your integration with the new configuration. Once that is done, your access continues without interruption. If you don't rotate and update your integration before the deadline, access to shared data will stop.

To refresh a recipient's token:

1. Select **Administration**, then select **Config Hub**.
2. Go to **Integrations & External Systems** > **Delta Share**.
3. On the card for the share that has the recipient, select **Edit share**.
4. In the **Edit Recipients** section, select **Refresh token** on the recipient's row.
5. In the **Update token** dialog, select **Update**.
6. When the dialog confirms that the recipient has been updated, select **Copy URL and close**.

The copied URL is a one-time retrieval link for the new credential, so send it only to the recipient, through a channel you trust. The recipient opens the link, downloads the credential file (a `.share` file, which can be downloaded only once), and stores it in a secure location. They then use that file in their integration, which replaces the previous configuration.
