Abandoned cart in Shopify

In Shopify, a cart is the place where customers add products they plan to buy or from where they remove products they no longer want. A customer might visit their cart multiple times before they make a final purchase.

Abandoned cart allows Shopify to keep track of what a customer has put into their cart but not bought. A way to leverage this in Engage is to connect the Shopify abandoned cart to an Engage automation and use that to send an email to the customer. And, if needed, to send another email a few days days later if no purchase is still not made.

Abandoned carts automatically expire after 10 days in Shopify so this is your time window to re-engage the customer.
