Sitoo requirements

This information is relevant if you're using Sitoo as your POS and it has an integration to Shopify. If you now want to connect your Shopify account (and therefore also Sitoo) to Engage using the Voyado Engage app in Shopify, here's what to do before you start:

  1. Confirm that SKUs in Sitoo are mapped to the SKUs in Shopify.

  2. Name your stores in Engage with the same External ID values you have in Sitoo.

    In the case above, you'll have to name this store "RETAIL4" in Engage.

  3. Confirm that email is set as the identifier in Sitoo. For this, go to the ADVANCED POS SETTINGS in Sitoo, find email in the fields_add section of the YAML file and make sure it's set to "editable_required", like this:

  4. Get the base URL for your Engage instance. You'll need this when configuring the Shopify app.

  5. There is a link in your "Time to configure Shopify/Engage" email you received at the end of Step 1 which lets you fetch your API key. The password to unlock that link is sent separately to the person you listed as your technical resource. Get that API key and then send it to Sitoo.
